PROJECT DETAILS

• Our technicians proved that the size of the project is no challenge for us, as we successfully took on and conquered this job in time for football season to begin. Through creativity and collaboration, the project was successfully completed within the time frame and budget.

CHALLENGE

• To demo and rebuild seven levels of luxury boxes, along with the supporting restrooms, restaurants and mechanical rooms. As a historical building, additional structural steel need to be added. The timeline was an aggressive nine months with the goal to open for the UCLA Football Season. It was a very fast paced project with numerous design revisions that took place during construction that required mid-stream re-designs and re-installs

MOE SOLUTION

• Moe dedicated our entire CAD department on this job from day one. We generated coordination drawings, coordinated with the other trades and generated fabrication drawings all at the same time. By working closely with the design consultants, we were able to make changes on the fly. Additionally, we fabricated a large percentage of the work to speed up the installation and to stay on schedule. We had a very good crew on site that was well organized and efficient with multiple foreman and crews working several floors at the same time.

OUTCOME

• The job was completed on time and within the budget and was successfully turned over in time for the UCLA Football Season and highlighted during the 2013 Rose Bowl game
